Coastal Foundation Drilling is a privately owned corporation providing commercial and industrial drilled pier services in all areas of the industry for over 25 years. We are located in Houston, Texas servicing the entire Texas coastal region as well as Louisiana, traveling to Northeast and West Texas as well.
We specialize in difficult jobs such as deep slurry shafts, cased shafts and low clearance shafts. We work largely in the Petro Chemical industry and carry all required basic insurance plus $5 million Umbrella coverage. We are capable of 70’ depths with rubber-tired truck mounted drill rigs, and 60’ depths with low clearance equipment.
Our operators and ground crews are some of the most experienced individuals within the drilled pier industry. All of our employees have TWIC Card, must pass background checks, DISA drug screens, and acquire extensive safety training from the Houston Area Safety Council and for various site specifics for many plants in and around the Greater Houston Area.
History and Equipment
Our equipment consists of one Texoma 700, four Texoma 600 drill machines, one 270 drill machine which are all mounted on Mack Trucks. Our low clearance equipment currently consists of one track Mounted Lodrill and one Case 580 Back Hoe Drill. We can contract to do Bobcat and Mini Excavator drilling, and have a large selection of drilling tools and casings.
Mike Campbell is President of the company and knows the business from the ground up. His father J.H. (Bill) Campbell, had been in the business since 1970.
